What’s in the pack

6 Frubby sponges: 2 apples, 2 guavas and 2 lemons. Each is about 9 × 8.6 cm (3.5 × 3.4 in), with a slot at the bottom for your faucet.

How to use it

  1. Wet the sponge and add a small drop of dish soap.
  2. Use the colorful soft side for plates and glasses, the white honeycomb side for pots and pans.
  3. Rinse and squeeze it out.
  4. Slide the slot over the neck of your faucet and let it drip dry into the sink.

Care

Rinse and squeeze after every wash and hang it on the faucet to dry. Swap to a fresh one every few weeks.

Shipping & 30-day promise

Free shipping on every order. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and usually arrive within 7–12 business days, with tracking by email.

The 30-Day Kind Kitchen Promise: A fresher, kinder kitchen in 30 days — or your money back. Email us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund — nothing to send back.

Will it fit my faucet?

The slot slides over the neck of most standard kitchen faucets. If yours is unusually thick or square, Frubby still works as a normal sponge on a hook or the sink edge.

Start to finish

From plant to plate to compost.

A sponge that’s kind at every step — from what it’s made of to where it ends up.

1Close-up of the plant cellulose of a Frubby sponge

Made from wood pulp

Frubby starts as plant cellulose — soft, thirsty fiber from wood pulp. No plastic foam, no polyester pad.

Hangs & dries between washes

The little slot slides over your tap. It drips into the sink and dries, so it stays fresh instead of souring in a puddle.

Into the compost, not the bin

When it’s worn out, snip it up and add it to your compost. Back to the earth — not another block of plastic in the trash.

Why Frubby

One small swap that feels as good as it looks.

So much of a home is hard to change. The sponge isn’t. It’s the thing you pick up every day and the thing that touches every plate — and most of the time it’s a block of plastic foam that goes in the bin every few weeks.

Frubby is the kinder version: made from plants, shaped like fruit, dried on the tap, and back to the earth when it’s done. No big lifestyle overhaul. Just one thing by the sink that you feel good about every time you reach for it.

Questions

Good questions.

What is Frubby made of?

Plant cellulose — natural fiber from wood pulp — on both sides: the colorful fruit side and the white honeycomb scrub side. No polyurethane foam, no polyester scrub pad, no plastic.

Is it really compostable?

Yes. When your Frubby is worn out, snip it into small pieces and add it to your home compost instead of the bin.

How do I keep it fresh?

Rinse it, squeeze it out and slide the slot over your tap. It drips into the sink and dries between washes, so it doesn’t turn sour.

Does it scratch?

No. The soft side is for glasses and plates, and the honeycomb side scrubs pots, pans and non-stick without scratching them.

How long does one last?

Like any kitchen sponge, swap to a fresh one every few weeks. With 6 in every pack, there is always a fresh fruit waiting in the drawer.

What if I don’t love it?

Then you get your money back. Every order comes with The 30-Day Kind Kitchen Promise: email us within 30 days of delivery and we refund your order in full. Nothing to send back — keep the sponges.
