About Frubby

Frubby started with a very ordinary annoyance: the kitchen sponge. It sits on the edge of the sink in a little puddle, never quite dries, and a few days later it smells — so it ends up hidden behind the tap whenever someone comes over.

So we gave it somewhere to go. Every Frubby has a small slot at the bottom that slides over the neck of your faucet. After the dishes it hangs there, drips into the sink and dries between washes.

We made it double-sided — soft on plates, tough on pans — and we made it look like fruit, because if something is going to sit on your faucet all day, it might as well be the thing your guests ask about.

A bonus we're proud of: the colorful fruit side is cellulose, natural plant fiber from wood pulp, not plastic foam. When a Frubby is worn out, you can snip it up and compost it.
