FAQ
Using it
Will it fit my faucet?
The slot slides over the neck of most standard kitchen faucets — the round spout or gooseneck part. If yours is unusually thick or square, Frubby still works as a normal sponge on a hook or the edge of the sink.
Does hanging it really help?
Sponges start to smell when they stay wet. Hanging Frubby over the sink lets the water drain away and air reach both sides, so it dries between washes instead of sitting in a puddle. Rinse it and squeeze it out after each wash.
Is it safe on non-stick pans?
Yes. The soft side is for plates, glasses and delicate dishes, and the honeycomb side scrubs pots and non-stick pans without scratching them.
How often should I swap to a fresh one?
Like any kitchen sponge, every few weeks. With a pack in the drawer there is always a fresh fruit waiting.

Bonus: what it's made of
What is Frubby made of?
The colorful fruit side is cellulose — natural plant fiber from wood pulp. The white side is a honeycomb scrub layer for pots and pans.
Is it compostable?
The cellulose fruit side is plant fiber: when your Frubby is worn out, snip it into small pieces and add it to your home compost.
